Marketo Engage Adds New Features

Must Read

Marketo Engage announced the release of new features available from July 31 and stated that more such features would get added in the next quarter of the year. Aiming towards incremental improvements and changes to its system, Marketo has made some unique additions to its marketing features.

Marketo Engage is planning to update its ABM with a UI for account profiling, allowing simplified creation and editing of profiles within one screen. This will simplify the creation of the target account list in Account Profiling with streamlined steps all in a single screen. Admins can now export all “Used By” asset links for a selected field into a CSV file. This enhancement can aid both admins and non-admins in cleaning up unused fields. Additionally, assets can now be opened in a new browser tab or window,” states Marketo.

For its form feature, Marketo Engage is improving its capabilities for blocking bot patterns to reduce the number of spam form submissions. The stronger form field syntax validation and the ability to block common bot patterns with new Secured Domains for Landing Pages capabilities will reduce spam form submissions and improve database quality.

Moreover, Marketo Engage’s Sales Insight will now be enabled for customers with non-native Salesforce CRM integrations to enable sales teams to operate more efficiently. This will help the sales teams to better understand, prioritize, and interact with the most engaged leads and opportunities to enable smart selling and faster deals.

Marketo also increased its API uniform resource identifier (URI) size limit from 8KB to 65KB in advance of the removal of the “_method” parameter. The removal of the “_method” parameter is part of an upcoming security upgrade, and when performing long query strings, this size limit increase will allow the data to pass more easily.

To get better control over compliance with two-party consent for call recordings, Marketo Engage is adding automated notification of intent to record in Sales Connect. This will enable call recordings with confidence that complies with the two-party consent law.

And finally, Marketo will cease support for Internet Explorer 11 and will continue to support Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge.
